Rasa Tea, a very special gift of the delicious recipe from my teacher, Mary Thompson from California.
According to Ayurveda, we have seven body components or dhatus – Rasa (circulatory fluid or plasma), Rakta (blood), Mamsa (muscle), Medas (fat), Asthi (bone), Majja (bone marrow & nerve), and Shukra (reproductive tissues).
Under the first stage of digestion, our food is converted to rasa dhatu.
Rasa dhatu is the minute essence of the food we consume which makes all the watery fluids of the body. It is considered the ‘Juice of Life’. It provides deep nourishment to all other tissues of the body and improves immunity.
Rasa tea is designed to serve the same purpose to build healthy tissues and nurture every cell. the seat of rasa dhatu is said to be the heart; and from the heart, it travels all over the body.
It is designed with high-quality organic herbs and spices like Licorice, Marshmallow, Flax seeds, Shatavari, Fenugreek, Cinnamon, etc.
Rasa Tea Preparation: in 2 cups of water, add 1/8 cup of herbs. Bring it to boil over low heat. Once it starts boiling, remove it from heat and cover it. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes (longer for a stronger taste). When ready to drink, strain out herbs, and enjoy the whole day.

This is my second time purchasing the 16oz package of ‘Rasa Tea’, after having committed to adding this ONE practice into my daily Ayurvedic practices (with aim of helping to balance monthly menstruation). I can definitely notice a subtler onset of premenstrual symptoms and a more overall robust energy level throughout the month.
